We are having a blast in our series called "Once Upon a Time".  I hope you'll plan to be there this Sunday and bring a friend with you.  It's going to be an amazing Sunday. 
  We will be baptizing several of our teenagers who gave their lives to Christ recently and, as a former youth pastor, I'm jacked up about seeing teenagers go public with their faith!  I believe that the most important areas in our churches (you can argue with me if you want) are Children & Youth Ministries.  The stats say that most people (75%-85%) will commit their lives to follow Jesus before the age of 18.  That's why I'm glad we have amazing volunteers like Rachael Thomas leading our JourneyKidz Children's Ministry and Brett & Lauren Tyson leading our Student Ministry.  They do an amazing job and creating an atmosphere for the Gospel to be presented in clear, creative and fun ways… all without the help of huge buildings and budgets.  This shows their creativity and commitment to do whatever it takes to see that our kids have the best opportunity to KNOW Jesus Christ and GROW in their relationship with Christ and their peers and equip them to GO into their campus and community and impact their friends with the Gospel!  

If you know of a family with children or teenagers who is not currently plugged into a church… do them a HUGE favor, bring them to Journey with you and introduce them to our amazing team of Children and Youth workers.  I promise you they will thank you for it!
